Final Exam Schedule

The final exam at TAMUK for this class is set for Thursday, May 14, at 1:20 p.m. By this date, your final exam must be turned in. I will meet in class at this time to review and grade material specifically for this class. Of course, you have the option (by TAMU policy) to take the final on this date. The final will be posted later this week and you can start work on it at your own pace. Please call me if you have any questions.

Sports Writing Class Thursday, April 16

In case some of you were wondering, we are meeting today. We are continuing our verbal discussion of your "favorite sports movie." Those who did not present Tuesday, be prepared to discuss your movie. We will finish this assignment today, and move on. If there are presentations left over, we will finish next Tuesday.

Also, a reminder, the sports column contest material was due yesterday. As of today, there are only three entries. First place, again, is a $25 gift certificate to Academy. Second place is...well, you know.

On your "original" syllabus, the book reviews are due April 2 and the movie review April 9. Some of you have not even picked a book or a movie. Today is April 2, is your book review ready? If not, please try to get both the movie and book review in by April 14. The discussion on movie reviews (verbal) on April 14 and April 21. Those who turn it in earlier will get extra points. Your power point presentation on your book review will be April 28, April 30 and May 5.
